My approach to therapy is very active and collaborative. We will use our first session together to get clear on the issue(s) that are causing you to seek services and I will collect relevant background information. We will decide on an initial course of action, including how often to meet, work you can do between sessions, and if we need to incorporate other resources into your treatment.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This means that I firmly believe that you are wired for growth and fulfillment...and that there are specific tasks that can be taken to achieve your desired outcomes. My role is to help facilitate your progress using a variety of techniques, provide support, and give feedback. You are responsible to take action, report on progress, and provide input in the process.
